Sooo I am speculating that Mincheol first tried to earn more for the two of them and made efforts to try making things better, because he genuinely loved her and wanted to do it for their future. However, as the results never really came out as expected (or as he may have desired), resentment may have built up overtime from thoughts of "If only I had done THAT back then... If only I had not done THIS..." etc.

Very much real, I have seen things like this happen irl. People who are oh so in love with each other may blame their relationship when things get awry in life. You don't want to blame yourself for your decisions because it's scary. Scarier and tougher than blaming someone else, who may have been the reason behind many of your bad decisions in the past, even though they never actively told you to do any of it.

So what do you do? You blame it on the other person, feel 'free' of the weight of all of your poor decisions but it's just an illusion at the end of the day. You know it just as well as anybody else that whatever happened was because of YOU.

I do not like Mincheol, but I do not hate him either if I am being honest. I have had this happen between me and my sister, although nowhere as severe as this shit ofc. Things are better now because I took the time to get my mental health together and get my life fixed, which eventually made me realize how I had been attributing my misfortune to someone who wasn't really actively involved in any of my actions. There is no saving Mincheol and Haesoo's relationship though and that's for the better ig.

And I do think all of these chapters showing the past and what's going on in Mincheol's head are indeed an important part of the story. A story is built from all of it's characters, whether you like them or not.

I think many ppl understand the first love, the broken toxic one, the one u could escape, the one was so painful in every possible way, but still as human tendency we held onto hope that maybe(most probably) our partner will improve or we will improve or relationship will improve, the first broken love teaches a lot through pain sacrifice toxic behaviours of each other, but it still leaves us broken more lost, more insecure, more dangerous to ownself, but then we have choice......either to stay broken & become more toxic or heal & understand ownself & have healthy life not perfect but definitely healthy, i hope that all ppl going through such phase choose healthy life one, i hope u find strength somehow to find urself back, i wish u all well

When chase was in rut he took medication and fell unconscious, he didn't wanna sleep around like his brothers so he always take medication. And when he woke up his brother told him he fuck a dog while he was in rut because he couldn't control himself. After that chase was never able to rid of his fear for dog.

This Man CARES deeply once he becomes attached his whole being becomes connected so he desperately stays away because why care if it just hurts . I feel like this chapter kinda awoke that in him when he saw the MC he already felt a conncetion due to the imprint but i also feel even during that time he could feel how much MC was a man full of responsibility and love /Confidence that he lacked in where he could be true to himself. Miller i feel became confused due to his family its hard when ur stuck in that type of role and setting . I mean he has a strong attitude but thats also do to him growing up in a break or make family. Anyway really liked this

The truth is, Ines is the one who loved that house and while sick and dying, she wrote letters to Carcel that she never sent. In one of them, she expresses to Carcel how much she loved the little house atop Logorño Hill. She and Carcel visited it for a gathering when she and Carcel were living in Calztela in their huge mansion. Carcel still owns that mansion in this current timeline. That’s where Ines had most of the guns sent. Anyway, Ines loved the little house so when Carcel found her unsent letter, he begun to fulfill her wishes she wrote in the letter. While he didn’t want to believe she was truly sick and dying at 23 years old, he bought the house to grant her wish. It was an excellent move because Ines, who was in a coma for many days, woke up one day to find herself moved to that house. After that, she began to get stronger, began to walk again and eventually was able to walk in their garden outside. Her health had miraculously improved. She lived there for five years before dying.

It’s kind of amazing that Carcel bought the house in this timeline right from the beginning of their marriage. It’s as if he was answering first timeline Ines’s wishes that they live their married life in that house. As the story continues, we will see that there are things from the first timeline that Carcel does that’s like an unconscious leak through from the first timeline. Another example is the diamond earrings he bought Ines in ep 40, page 12. He bought her those earrings in the first timeline just before he left for the battlefield never to return alive again.
