I liked the ending. Ue isn't in ANYONE'S shadow, he's so obviously loved in a way that's healthy. Their dynamic isn't co-dependent, and likely by design cause that was the MAIN issue with Mafuyu's last relationship and why is would have ended, death or no death. Some of you seem to forget that a lot of what Mafuyu was struggling with was the lack of closure, and Ue gives him that by finishing the song Yuki never finished. He arguably understands Yuki the most of any character despite never meeting him, but he makes active choices to involve Mafuyu in music and his biggest passion because he loves him that much, enough to not need to keep those loved things separate. And if ya'll had an OUNCE of patience you'd know (since it's been in the know for a while) that Given IS a band. They actively have CDs. He just still helps the other band sometimes. But be not it me to tell you to do 2 seconds of looking in the "Other by same author" section if nothing else.
