Sooooo I'm going to put this into finished but apparently there's more to come. I really love how we get a realistically gruff, battle-wounded male lead who isn't egotistical. He shares his vulnerability which is refreshing. The story puts an emphasis on friendship as the main factor of this romance. Makes the story feel more realistic and practical vs the 'I looked and he was the one' plots
