
no child should ever have to live that way. The backstory doesn't justify or excuse his behavior as an adult in the present time, but it does help you understand why he is the way he is and gives insight into his behavioral issues. Unfortunately, a lot of poeple in real life are the same way due to trauma, tragic life events, abuse, etc. Hurt people often end up hurting people and victims end up becoming abusers. This is why therapy, self-reflection and self awareness are so so so important!! that's the only way you can prevent your misfortunes from negatively impacting your thoughts and actions, be it intentionally or unintentionally.
