unless ML was being harsh to make a point or something, I don't believe blondie deserves such mean words and bashing. If you've spent so many years with someone and never felt any obvious romantic attraction, there's absolutely nothing wrong with it and it's not fair to blame him for that. He's conflicted and confused because his closest friend just confessed to him.. that shit takes time to process!!! one of my own best friends is gay, and if she ever told me she's been in love with me, I wouldn't know what to do.. the thought has never even crossed my mind. This is fiction so I'm sure it's gonna turn into a "always loved him just didn't know it" situation, but in real life this would just be codependency and the strong desire to not lose a dear friend. I'm rooting for their happy ending nonetheless. Both deserve to be happy!
