I don’t think what’s valid is the reasoning behind op’s opinion lol. Their reason for disliking him was being a fckboy and bdsm thing, not rape. So that sums up the priorities right there lmao

i was gonna say people are allowed to dislike characters who sleep around a lot even if they're doing it to cope w their trauma, but oml just a few days ago i literally saw so many people slut shaming & hating on the uke in another manhwa (monochrome diary) when he was clearly using sex as a coping mechanism & it made me so SO mad so yeah youre probably right

I'm one of those people who wants to Seoin to have a full chase arc and wants him to proclaim "I love you" to Yeonwu until Yeonwu gets irritated by him. I know he's angry because Yeonwu didn't let him say his personal problems, but being so angry that he wants to rape him, is really horrible. I don't care if he sleeps around, but him wanting to see Yeonwu chase him around is the worst. I really want him to know that Yeonwu see him kiss his step brother so that he is forced to admit that he has feelings for him.

Even if you are traumatized, never put your loved one in a traumatizing position. Be Yeonwu, who is still kind to him.

I don't care what the characters do with others, I also don't mind if the main couple hurt each other if there's a valid reason.

But this "seme uses his own trauma as an excuse to cause the already traumatized uke even more trauma" just pisses me the fuck off every time. And the method is always rape. This is honestly getting old and it makes the characters look cheap instead of well written imo

Most of the time the main seme is the same or even worse than the other characters hurting the uke, but somehow I'm supposed to root for him more.
