They’re all kinda chopped. At first I was glad Mc seemed to have some backbone, but the way he completely dismissed the r*pe blond ml put him through and then lets him sleep next to him and even goes over to his house…
Black hair ml has been very reasonable so far, doesn’t push Mc to do things he’s uncomfortable with, communicates and asks for consent, behaves like a normal adult… but Mc still prefers a r*pist that has the mental age of a toddler. He’s childish in an actual child kind of way, and being so horny all the time and mc being into all his kid like behavior is kind of off putting.

I love this mc, pls be happy

I really liked the main couple at the start, but i got annoyed with the Mc after a while. He’s become so frustrating to me now, i even ended up skimming past some of his parts just to get to the second couple. Everyone paints him as this saintly, kind and considerate pushover, but he just comes off as selfish and inconsiderate to me after repeatedly hurting the ml with dumb lies and constantly verbally blaming himself in front of him for everything, as if the world revolves around him.

I got even more annoyed when the ml acts like mc does for once and just does whatever without informing him and he gets upset, and instead of realizing how bad and hurtful that behavior is and trying to change, he just says that’s just the way he is and ml should just deal with it or give up on him. Ml constantly compromises and does whatever’s best for the mc, but he can’t even return half of that kindness. I wish he’d just put himself in ml’s shoes for once and try to give in once in a while instead of stubbornly hurting him.

Still, I’m glad he seemed to be getting some character development after ml’s mom passed away, but that was all undone in the extras… Multiple years of being together, and he still only thinks of himself. Ml has proven time and time again his love and devotion to mc. He tries to communicate and plan for their shared future, but mc’s still incapable of considering ml’s feelings. After this many years you should already know the kind of person he is and how he thinks/feels, yet he’d rather consider the abusive father’s feelings and plans for ml.

At this point I’m just too fatigued to care, I’d rather read about the second couple. Them and ml are the only reason I even finished this. This Mc should chase after the ml for once. Also wish they told us more about how mc and step bro got together.
