Girl same but from what i remember yisin has a decease that doesnt make him age physically, and then idk he somewhat became immortal bc he got tested on? And there’s a cult that wants to be immortal so they want to eat yisin, and jintae is the guy tht betrayed him i dont remember why but ig he js has somewhat twisted sense of love? And the yoon guy is the child of a person yisin wanted to give money but jintae didnt give money so his dad died? And jintae died in accident but somehow came back? Idk im getting as confused as i write this

I made a summary a while ago I can put but keep in mind the Information I had at the time was under the impression that Jintae was Yeon Heyop lol…..


Yisin is immortal. He, along with his dear friend Rohee and crush Jintae (who are also immortal) are being held captive and experimented on in this dungeon full of people who would do anything to learn how to live forever. In a scene we see Jintae enter back into the dungeon and the three talk about the other kids who have all came and gone and wonder if they will have to live like this forever.

Suddenly a fire erupts and the three immortals escape to live in quite a big house with house keepers and such. (they were able to live like this because people knew they were immortal and worshipped them). Things were fine until Jintae fell in love with a mortal house keeper. Yisin was deeply hurt by this because he loved Jintae and Jintae treated him like a lover up until then. As it turned out though, Jintaes new lover was psycho. He tried to kill Yisin and Rohee to have Jintae on his own because he was jealous of their immortal connection and forever young looks. When Yisin and Rohee tried to warn Jintae about his lover he lashed out on them calling them liars. Yisin was so upset that he told the worshipping commoners outside that the secret to becoming immortal was for them to eat Jintaes lover.

This caused a huge fight between Jintae and Yisin. The dysfunction ate at Yisin who told Rohee everything (about killing Jintaes lover). Rohee decided he would help Yisin by taking all Jintaes and his bad memories and keeping them so Yisin can live peacefully.

This would be great however, Jintae somehow took over this brain washing and stripped Rohee and Yisin of their memories time and time again. Giving Yisin fake memories to start a fake life and then giving him all his memories back so he could constantly remember nothing is real for him as his punishment.

This time around though, in Yisins new life he becomes a businessman who is working with Jintae. He is tasked with ensuring the workers get their pay for their work. He asked Jintae to make sure the money is distributed however, Jintae lies and doesn’t give them the money. This causes loan sharks to go after a man and kill him. This man had a kid who will resent Yisin in the future. Not because his parents died, but because his parents were shitty and he gave him a taste of what love and attention should be but left him to be an orphan. This orphanage actually ended up burning down and the boy was saved. (This will be what I assume will be our future ML “Director Yoon”. )

Jintae later “dies” and Yisin is left distraught. He leaves the business to fail and starts and Odd Ball job agency with hopes to see if along the way he can bring his friend back to life somehow. He hires a man named Yeon Hyeop who at this time he's been working with for a couple years. This is when he gets a gig helping a woman who is trying to run away with a large amount of her lovers money. This lover she had was Director Yoon aka the little boy I was just talking about all grown up. Director Yoon chases down Yisin and eventually does let him off the hook after Yisin rembered who he was.

Yeon Hyeop has a deep conversation with Yisin where he asked to get to know all the bad he's done. Yisin tells him his whole life. How as a child his parents were cannibals who tried to eat people. How Yisin set them along with the other cult members on fire to save the other children. Suddenly though, Yisin starts to remember his whole life. His immortal life. There smiling and looking at him is Yeon Hyeop. Jintae has taken over a humans body and again deceived Yinsin. This time however, Jintae has come to a realization. His past first love was meaningless. He could have fallen for anyone who excited him in the same way, but Yisin was different. He had many revenge lives with Yisin. Ones where he would get married and have children yet Yinsin always stayed by his side. Jintae realizes that he “loves” Yisin. He attempts to force himself of Yisin but Yisin runs away to look for Rohee. While looking for Rohee, he runs into Director Yoon who cares for him and then lets him go to find his friend… to be continued..

Nowww theory time/ I'm pretty sure this is what the author is implying. Jintae is literally at the center of every “FireBird”, “Imortal”, “Phoenix”. All of these clubs/ cults have been set on fire. In one of Yisns fake lives, he wakes up to find out he was cut in half and eatten but grew back his body parts. At this time, Jintae mentions something like “they have to burn so we can live forever”. Also, when Jintae got his first love he said something like, “ I will give him some of our immortality be use I love him that much”. I think he is burn sacrificing the bad cannibals and people who are willing to do anything to be immortal to live forever with the people he chooses possibly. Not to mention with all these fires and there is not definite reason for most of them.
