This is a question to all my fellow short term memory loss havers. You ever drop a series because it went on hiatus, is updating too slow, or you want it to marinate a bit? But then it picks back up and everyone is talking about it. But you forgot where you left off! And what was happening in the story!! Do you reread the whole story or reread some of it (guessing where you left off by clicking random chapters lol)

Any recommendations for jealousy done in a cute/healthy way in BL? I feel like way too often, authors write jealousy that ends in the top raping the bottom (cough Jinx cough Mr. 100% Perfect etc etc). Why tf are Yeongwoon’s memories of Jaewon and Seo-in of them being cutesy lovey dovey to each other when they were both actively trying to kill each other I’m screaming (reread ch 1-2 to see Yeongwoon’s POV of them being kissy touchy lovey toward each other(

Alright so what I’m getting at why Yeongwoon went no contact with Seo-in for ten (10) frickin’ years was:
1. Seo-in said he liked a guy and wanted to fool around with Yeongwoon to “make sure”
2. During this process, or maybe even before, Yeongwoon fell in love with Seo-in
3. Jaewon, Seo-in’s brother, found out about the fooling around and told Yeongwoon to stop
4. He even bullied/beat up Yeongwoon to make him stop
5. Yeongwoon sees Seo-in kissing Jaewon, again, his brother (???), and assumes this was the guy Seo-in liked
6. Yeongwoon (rightfully) concludes this is so fucked up he needs to go at least 10 years no contact with Seo-in
7. Somehow Jaewon dies

Finished this on another site. Unfortunately, I enjoyed it a lot as it fed into my “I can fix him” fantasy.
