Having read the novel i can safely say that this is one of the best love story i have ever read. The characters are very well fleshed out and feel real, their issues and interactions being rather realistic also helps. İ honnestly liked the novel so much that i never mtled it and i feel like no adaptation can do it justice.
However it is not a story for everyone because it tackles on many hard topics and is also a pretty sequential slice of life which some might find boring
