If she’s trying to do an excellent redemption arc it better be no backstory (where jk saw his parents die, or he was bullied, or whatever cliché toxic top backstory); No cat and mouse game ( jk chases after Dan and Dan keeps running away from him)
And most importantly no 180 degree change (like jk realizing he have feelings for doc Dan and he instantly starts being nice to Dan by trying to make him like him (basically nothing like beware of the march) ) I doubt the author would do this but who knows.
The redemption arc should be instead focus on self healing, for instance, GOING TO FUCKING THERAPY TO DEAL WITH YOUR ANGER ISSUES. Apologizing to co workers who he treated like shit. Should be couple of chapters of that and maybe a time skip where he goes to Dan,idk.
Bc truly nothing, I mean NOTHING, can convince me of jk redemption. The author reallllly need to tried to separate from the other authors if she’s trying to make her readers (that don’t like jk) like jk
Also if anyone asking why I’m reading this story, it’s bc of the side couple. Without them INSTANT DROP.
