it’s not mcs fault but not the brothers fault either it’s js that bitchass incel ass cousin and that women i think their aunt? idk wtf she is but it’s understandable how the brother blames mc, he js needs sb to blame and direct his anger towards so he blames his sister for not being “there for him”, but she was working too so he has to understand that he can’t be her top priority she’s his SISTER not mom also how can he expect her to help if he pushes her away every time she does? ik js ONE time she didn’t answer her phone but u can’t hate her forever over that since it literally wasn’t her fault, she was working to provide for u and save up and she also called u back too like she does everything she can tbh!! not blaming brother tho js miscommunications between siblings tbh…and it’s that damned cousin and aunts fault she doesn’t know bc he never tells her, so what could she do? she tries to find out but he pushes away every time yk?
this is the BEST book i’ve ever read every character is written so thoughtfully i like how the fact the dads written. yes he’s bad but i like how it’s not generalized like js cuz he’s bad to karen (in some life’s) doesn’t mean he’s bad to his daughter (like he’s actually human not js made to stir trouble it feels like) most stories would’ve prob done that but i like that detail and how sometimes he pities her, or does something “nice” in some life’s but then others he’s brutal with that sick justification i js like how he’s not like automatically evil to her (im not saying he has a reason im saying i like how he wasn’t written to be like muah muah haha i hate karen lemme slime her ass out
It's low-key why I love characters who come back to life multiple times. It gives a huge opportunity to see how complex human nature really is. It's worrisome in a way because when there's repetition of lives people get minimized to just their actions, but this comic addresses it, and works to slowly disprove that in its own way.
