To the people complaining the fl is too dumb: you guys are taking this way too seriously.
I admit there are way better reincarnation stories out there but as a short, light read this is not bad ¯_(ツ)_/¯
The plot is very much trying to be scary(?) and make you question the situation/characters but I'm honestly no better than the Fl and my brain was empty as I was reading this so I often found myself actually laughing at either said situation or at the Fl reaction

I got too used to have the cool character save the Fl, in this one the bad one is the Ml - isn't that so nice~~
The perfect way to waste a couple hours and feel both nothing and the emptiness that only a bad book can leave inside you
The author literally read the decent isekai/reincarnated/historical manga where the shitty ex wrongfully dumps the Fl, misunderstood the assignment, and gave him the redemption ark with no actual improvement and the Fl a sure short life filled with worries and headaches
A waste of time, give me back the sleep I lost because of this
