Why do people call males who identify as men and give birth in mpreg stories 'mother'? They're not and that's fine because not every family should have a father and a mother.
Giving birth doesn't equate being a mother. It pisses me.

    For me a mother is the homemaker and the light of the house while a father is a pillar , what I meant is that if in straight couple if the father is the homemaker then he is categorized as the "mother" and the mother as the "father" ... It's not about who gave birth ... ..

    why are you so pressed? it's not having a #wokemoment, it's just pointing out that it's weird for authors to impose feminine labels on characters that IDENTIFY as men. if you're going to argue that it boils down to what they want to be called---none of these characters explicitly (or even implicitly) mentioned wanting to be called "mother". they were following the logic of the setting that the AUTHOR decided on. take the hyesung from love is an illusion for example, aside from being labeled a mother, he was literally called an auntie. which, didnt make sense??

    also please lay off the hostility, nobody's trying to attack you. op is literally just trying to have a conversation??? which is also important to have bc what we read DOES affect how we behave in real life. reading stuff that depicts gay relationships in a heteronormative light also affects how we look at actual gay men. i mean, have you seen people online who sees two men and then start publicly speculating about who is the bottom and who is the top? we need to have conversations like this lol.

Hello. Is there any Manhwa/ manga with characters who have chronic illnesses especially autoimmune conditions like lupus. I'm waiting for my diagnosis for SLE and I've been in the worst mental state ever. I feel so lost and afraid. I'm only 18 and I have dreams to fulfil. My symptoms are killing me. Why does that happen to me?

    hello im sorry but i dont have any mangas in mind, but reading this i can def feel how scared and paranoid u mightve been, youre young youre still have ur life ahead of you and this particular obstacle feels so big that you dont know if youre gonna be able to handle it, it might sounds so scary especially for you rn, but from what i know people whos diagnosed w sle still can live a normal life span with the right treatment and management, what youre scared of rn is thinking you mightve need to live with this ur whole life, but trust me i believe theres so much bigger things that u can do that even w this sickness you can still achieve, i believe in you and im praying that whatever diagnosis/whatever comes out of this, you can still live ur life the way u dreamed off, your live is still waiting for u to write the pages on, stay strong i believe in you! <33

Call me crazy but it's pissing me off that people are justifying attempted murder to an innocent child in that one Omegaverse mahwa. Why do people overlook murder but they draw the line at rape regarding novels and manhwas. (Both are bad)
I don't get it. Will they say 'you should understand that was because of his troubled childhood and misfortunes' if it were attempted rape instead of attempted murder?

(assuming they later fall in love too). imo it MIGHT be cuz it was 'attempted' murder & he didn't actually end up killing the kid, which doesn't make it better but might be why the readers let him off the hook. like, in my opinion, readers barely even draw the line at rape, so in case there's attempted rape / dub con, people js brush over it too (case in point boundary of delusion nobody talks about it). that might be it, though I agree this is weird as fuck. i don't see a psychological tag so that's even more crazy.

    Yeah, there are people out there who try to justify rape too, which is just disgusting. But, I think the reason this story doesn't have a psychological tag is mainly because it's Omegaverse and romance-centred, although the theme is pretty dark.
    It's crazy how he tried to kill twice in just one chapter—

    No worries. Actually, this story is not that bad at all compared to other Omegaverse stories but it will piss you so much how MC treats ML so badly even though ML hasn't done anything to him apart from being born rich.

These days, when I try to read some of those stories that I was reluctant to read before for no reason, I feel regret for missing out on such amazing stories so I want to give a chance to those well-known stories too.
