Don't put in 'representation' if it's going to be bad. Don't add in a darskinned character if it's just going to be orientalism and that character is going to be a savage or 'descendant of a slave race' (??) I fullu understand that characters can be annoying but what's with the hate towards female characters in action?? A female character could literally be legitimate and helpful but she'll be called a bitch bc the readers feel threatened by a 2d girl stealing their man.

But when a male character shows up in the same manner he's helpful and a good part of the team??
