i loooooveeee the way ian is written so so much T_T pibi accurately depicts what it is like to truly love someone and yearn for them despite it all. even if ian was mad, his heart still loved eunsan and he clung onto the hope he’d see him again, which eventually led him back to korea. ian’s motivation for his career is eunsan, so he got a tattoo that represents him. plus it’s so cute that ian clearly saved all his firsts for him, which explains why he’s clumsy yet filled with longing… #yearnism is soooooo good

certain subplots of this story are lowk dumb as hell, esp the way the 3 love interests are written, but the overarching msg is honestly written rly well a traumatic experience in your adolescence can quite literally damage and shape your perception of something… jiheon felt unlovable and unwanted bc of the betrayal he experienced with his first love. it later resulted in him avoiding any type of emotional intimacy with another person. he primarily seeks value thru “meaningless” sex bc he’s scared of getting hurt again. and so the people who end up loving him actively deals with the consequences of his trauma… but thru heeseop, he feels like he can be loved unconditionally, yet there is still an underlying fear that lives within him self sabotage can ruin ur life

i recently reread s1 and seoan went to a therapist for his panic disorder T_T they wrote seoan’s recovery storyline very well so im really hoping they properly address woowon’s depression and grief and how unhealthy his avoidance and his “coping mechanisms” are… it’s still so early in the season and im sad upi got injured for a bit so we’re still early into s3. there’s still a loooooot more to unpack and navigate so i still have hope upi will take their time and write woowon’s recovery just as well as seoan’s

all of the men in this manhwa are so annoying and think with their dicks it’s lowk funny it’s like various types of men with personalities that have the ability to piss you off is one story… nonetheless it is entertaining but i hope they all seek therapy soon
this chapter made me so angry… although i understand jaeyi’s feelings of betrayal, the author could’ve written other ways to handle this situation that didn’t involve violent rape to get his anger across. this last ch. just felt so… horrible to read and witness and overall, out of character for jaeyi. scammed and rammed truly was my favorite manhwa for the longest time until this chapter /:
