this may seem controversial, but imo the rape scenes make sense in regards to the story's settings....now everyone has the right to their own opinion and its fine of u rate the story low because of it...perfectly justifiable...but in the first half of the story Nakwon fits every aspect of the corrupt policeman trope/stereoptype...and in most cases those cops tend to sexually assault prisoners in order to coerce them into testifying...(post 9/11 US military officers used this tactic a lot on arab POWs.) ive read quite a few journals about prison wardens, officers, prosecutors sexually assaulting their detainees. and not only are these tactics used in order to get the "truth" out (most of the times the victim is just saying anything to get them to stop) its also used to embarrass the victim...
-so essentially what im saying is that the author didnt add these scenes simply because its a BL n they needed sex scenes (unlike other BL stories) but because it shows how low down and corrupt the justice system is (a universal occurrence).....this isnt defending Nakwon because at the end of the day he is a rapist
