Eh... so that "sort of" big baddie's gone?? who the heck offed him? I have my suspicions on the crown prince (we know Crow teleporter esper dude could have easily done it, but crown prince is a much more interesting option).
But the same exact plot formula of people fighting each other over who gets to exploit her, getting repeated over and over, is starting to get boring... man, the same exact cycle is just not fun anymore, at least start adding some darn other variants to it, already! Like dunno, the emergence of another guide? Clues in the previous dimensional-jumper's diaries??... Anything????
If not, then just take all the espers to your own world, girl... just like some other commenter's said. Hamelin flautist-style: your world treats espers better, they have more guides, more teamwork to get rid of monsters without sacrificing anyone, and the medicine and tech of your world clearly have no worthy match there (haven't seen magical tech or anything, so).

Huh, he has all that power at his disposal, all that law-of-physics-warping potential, distorting time and space, and individuals' memories, however and whenever he wants... ...just to make her get chased by a...a *giant scorpion*.
And lol yeah... I get it. Yeah.. that's an "awful" thing for him to do. Yeah. And, yadayada.. *But*, *frankly*? ...From a horror fan's perspective? From that POV, that's (also) a bit... hilariously stupid, like the kind of childish "horror" that only some dorky kids would come up with. Or, like some of the stuff that the old Jumanji boardgame would pull. (But... tbh... I think my basis of comparison may be a bit off... after watching the drastic shit that the IT clown pulled in ep. 4 of "It: Welcome to Derry" **And NO: don't watch it, look up a summary if you want, but DO NOT WATCH**)
