Gren was portrayed as a burden but he was just a lost soul, which is the sad truth about addiction. It is hard to deal with an addict, your support won’t mean shit if they don’t want to break free from said addiction, but when they do, your support, presence or even a “it’s gonna be okay “ from “you” will meant the world to the person as that may the push they needed to get through the day/bad thoughts.
