Honestly not that bad,
You gotta understand this girl was a workaholic she doesn’t get people very well regardless of her past. I agree that she should have dropped the friend but she's so new to all this. The ML didn't realize his feelings until later so I don’t blame her for not realizing it. Her own feelings too because she's so tunneled vision she just didn't think she could or would like anyone else (she was also hyper focused on work too). I don’t like how they randomly cut the plot though, it seems like she’s about to come to the conclusion she likes the ML but because they need more drama to keep it going they took a pause to figure out how to add drama. I just wanna know who killed them in their past life.
