im like 45 chapters in and the ML is still insufferable to me, if i dont like him now is it worth it to continue?

while eclis is crazy and has his own issues i think its fair to say he would not be as mentally fucked right now had he not been used by penelope…like penelope i love you girl, and i get you just wanted to survive and saw it all like just a game, but its lowkey your fault the relationship turned out this way. she was very flippant with her actions and words toward eclis and self admittedly used him like a tool. eclis has genuinely only been used by everyone around him this entire time, he was quite literally a slave. im not saying hes justifed in being a crazy yandere now but like damn…bro was doomed by the narrative and didn’t stand a chance

genuinely i hope henry and erin dont get back together unless we get some really satisfying scenes between the two. if he just professes his love once and she accepts him i’ll be disappointed since they made it a point to show erin and the other girls doing their own thing and thriving
