It’s been awhile since I read the novel/manga so i’m sorry if I’m giving the wrong information. For time loops, Ilya made the decision to help her sister attend school in one of her lives. Since her sister went to school, she runs into Sai and blah blah Sai wants to kill her. I don’t think this scenario happens if her sister stays home. Crow is crow. Not much I can say there other than he gives Ilya cryptic messages regarding fate/destiny/time loops/etc and visits her sometimes at the end of her lives. Hope that helps.
