So ngl she bothered me the last few chapters (like I get where shes coming from but also miss ma’am wtf) and I was kinda excited to see what this time skip would bring and would’ve been totally fine with a little drama of them meeting again and him being snarky because of how she broke up with him and her just not being a good partner really at all (imo) but whatever the fck happened in the chapters that followed I cannot get behind. Will probs drop until further notice cause that just made me feel icky
I had an inkling he was on the aro/ace spectrum, kinda refreshing to see ngl but I still don’t really like him lol
Anyone know when volume 4 of the novel starts??? I have points on Tappytoon that I want to use to read the novel but I currently don’t got the budget to buy all the chapters

➼ guardian/adopted
➼ temporary guardian
➼ family member
➼ children at end of story
Omegaverse with babies starts on page #8
That was…a lot…might just wait for this whole backstory to finish and they get back to the present to pick this back up lmao
This whole arc has made me feel kinda uncomfy cause he was still technically “raised” by Taehyuk (yes I know he’s not a child and only took the appearance of a child because it was the first human he saw)
I do really like this story but kinda wish they stayed platonic during this backstory/past? idk just me, usually I’m all about the smut but this one just wasn’t it
The more I read the more I feel like Carcel’s sleeping around is justified in a way. I don’t think it was the “right” or “moral” thing to do considering he was technically engaged but it makes sense. He was in a forced engagement with someone that could care less about him and had his relationship freedom taken from him at a very young age. I can see how for him sex was the one thing in his life he had control over. I think it might be the fact that we got Ines’ pov first that so many still think Cárcel is irredeemable but had he been the main character there might not have been as much hate towards him. I read a novel with a female character having a slightly similar backstory as Cárcel who used sex as a means of feeling control in her life and people seemed to sympathize with her much more than I’ve seen for cárcel. That’s not to say I think Ines is an antagonist or horrible person in any way, she’s gone through horrific past lives that make her current actions make sense. I don’t think her manipulation and (seemingly) gaslighting of Cárcel is a good thing but given her past I can see why she does it.
I genuinely love both of these characters because they seem to be much more complex than you first expect.
