So good!! It's a well made and thought story and they made it so that you actually do understand the villain's story and the reasons for their choices. Made me lowkey root for the mage in the end. The art is obviously very well done, but I also love how they wrote the ending in a 3rd person way, like how a historian would write past events! Reminds me of how we are all a fleeting speck of dust in this world and that the only way we are remembered is through the interpretation of others. Although I wish it was longer and that there was less romance in the story, since mc's arc was entertaining enough. Also felt a bit shorter than I would have liked, felt a wee-bit rushed towards the end.
Overall very well written characters and a marvelous manhwa! (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
SPOILER; Also am I the only one confused on if the "god" actually did say/do something to the first emperor to forcibly make him kill the witches? Yohrou
No I agree with you, it's confusing. Was he forced or not, it was unclear. Maybe God told him something and he got influenced but it sounded like he was brainwashed and woke up after it was done, I'm confused
I was under the impression that the God tricked him since he didn’t like how their existence threatened/was outside of his authority. Using his love for Evaldina, and making it seem like the other witches existence would like prevent them from being together. However by the time he realizes his actions were what pushed her away all he’s left is to wallow in self pity and leave a lousy apology in a diary.
Also I think after all that it’s weird how the first emperor still has kids. Like it would have made more sense if they were descendants of like his sibling or something…
The manhwa where the fmc transforms/is a small pink bird, iirc she has pink hair and theres one chapter where she hides behind a pillar/pedestal and the ml (black hair maybe) asks whose there and destroys the pillar
