my first week of college I followed 3 simple steps
1. dont touch anybody
2. don't speak to anybody (authority is fine)
3. don't look at anybody
go to class, take notes, go back to where ever you're staying, do your general education requirements first, AND BAM, college solved (for the first 1 and a half years)
