Im really wondering, why to people still like winter after knowing everything he's done?? He literally made Penelope suffer and feel like he's the character that hurt her the most. Finding out what he has done to her is crazy and made me have no sympathy for him so am really wondering why he's peoples fav character?

Idk but I was also born with a condition that makes me feel nothing for a 2nd ML 99.99% of the time so that might be that. Even if he died now I would lowkey not care since this is all his failure in the first place. Some women just have soooo much sympathy for secondary male leaders so the love for Winter must come from there although I am side eyeing anyone whose favourite character in this story isn’t Penelope like imo that’s crazy.

They also like to imagine that Winter's love for Penelope is 'eternal' when it's obviously incomplete but that’s another debate that I wont partake in due to laziness.

To answer op dw Winter won't die though I don’t remember at all what happens to him (he either is fine or I cant explain why might be trapped in a mirror?? I genuinely can't remember anything about him) when I read the novel I remember feeling angry at Ecklis disgusted at Derrick entertained-a bit bitter for 2nd brother momentarily forgot his name and joy for Callisto and Winter... nothing. Out of all the boys the scenes with Winter imo were so boring that he was like a npc in my mind (also you can imagine how little sense his scenes were with random teleportation and magic spells the author would just write as whooosh pew pew pew pow pow)

I understand that and i'm totally agree that he made the OG Penelope suffer by having endless loops and therefore deserves to have consequences and his behavior in his first route isn't exactly welcoming either, but the reason why i like his character is maybe due to my likeness of morally grey characters lololol. I like how when he realized his mistakes it led him to desperate make things right even if it costs his soul, its why i like his character- of course im not going to excuse his mistakes because of his attempt to fix it. Its fine if people dont like him or have no sympathy of him, but let's try not to forget he's not the only one who made penelope suffer literally everyone in the story made her experience that. ┗( T﹏T )┛
