How do you expect to get the full context of the story if you dont read the prequel? Especially since obviously byuls relationship with his parents is going to affect his story

so them going behind hyesungs back to contact that bitch who abandoned their mom/wife and then guilt tripping hyesung, who mind you was also only 19, graped by dojin and got pregnant bc of that and had no choice or resources to make any better choice, is downrigtt he diabolical, byul could reconcile with his mom/ hyesung but I still don’t think any of them deserves to be forgiven esp not dojin, and the author making this drama is so unnecessary they could’ve just introduced some new characters tbh

But youre fine reading actual kids? (Byul is a highschooler) Knowing the full story makes for a better reading experience and makes you connect with the character and story more

I think its important to solve this "unwanted child" plotline for people that were reading since the pregnancy. I always wondered if they ever told byul and how he reacted to that and its nice for it to be properly addressed. But i also agree that bringing the mother back was unnecessary and could have been handled differently.

i think because you think hyesung looks like a toddler in that manhwa because hes only 19 and so overworked in that young age if you read that one you will see that the art will change bit by bit. he's 19-20

Hyesung's dad is extremely abusive and looks down on omegas. Hyesung's mom was very young (I think she was a teenager). She couldn't take the abuse anymore and left Hyesung with his abusive dad. This part sucks but we could at least sympathize with her. But then when she tries to reconnect with Hyesung, he locks himself behind a door and refuses to see her. He asks her why she never came to find him and she blames HIM for never coming to find HER. She doesn't even apologize. The audacity smh.
