I don’t have a preference so I’m coming from an unbiased pov. But this chapter confirmed it for me Ran is crazy about Kaya in her own way. This time we can’t blame him. She chose to dedicate herself to Kaya. Everything was her choice. Don’t blame Kaya for this. He literally removed himself from the situation and she brought him back and dumped Nasu for him. Remember that.

well hes self distructing so ran chose to break up with nasu ..
and nasu knows and said himself that ran would not smile again because of kaya ..
so i think from that on he already knows that he lost .. but oh well what is manga if theres no love triangle and angst
i just hope kaya would heal and be happy ..

I hope her father does not get a redemption arc. I would find it refreshing to have him just stay an asshole and she leaves with her man and gives her dad the middle finger. It’s too common an arc in anime and manga and he does not deserve to have them groveling to him and trying to prove anything. Not when he’s treating her like a commodity.

They both changed a lot. Here Mo is complimenting He Tian and showing concern over being late not because he’s scared of him but because he’s genuinely concerned for leaving He Tian waiting. He even checks to see if he ate anything. Then on He Tian’s side he’s sulky and upset but he’s not being scary and forceful. He’s just pouting. What started out badly became much better. This feels like a solid enemies to lovers story.

I’m just wondering what the author is aiming for with this. When Kaya does these things to her she doesn’t look angry, scared, or horrified. She just passively says stop while blushing. Her reactions are weird. I can’t tell if it’s intentional and the author is planning something or if it’s bad writing.

I felt sorry for Makino’s friend Yuki. I kind of wish she could have properly moved on from Sojiro and ended up with someone. I’m at that chapter 230 where she says she’ll warm him up and they sleep together. This is right after saying he doesn’t think he could love her that. She helped him with his childhood friend situation and is going all out for him and that’s admirable. But her still loving him while it’s impossible for her just feels so sad.

I’m fine with this not ending anytime soon because there isn’t much BL like this. This sort of long lasting slice of life where you just enjoy their shenanigans along with the bits of romance and friendship. Most of the time it’s a drama with a clear plot but I like how this is more of a slice of life. I’ve been reading this for many years. Since the beginning when Mo at first didn't have a name.

Anyone feeling frustrated with Oushi will feel relieved after chapter 41. I couldn’t wait and I bought it.
He’s acknowledged that he’s been mean to Yuki. So it wasn’t people being haters. The author intended for his behavior to be seen as wrong.
He talks to his friends and basically tells them he’s going to give up but before that he must do something (probably confess). (●'◡'●)ノ I’m satisfied with the chapter and hopefully we can now move on from Oushi.
The author has been so good about avoiding cliche shoujo stuff that I’m not worried about his ex. I’m almost expecting Yuki to be jealous and worried about his ex if she appears and then we get some twist like she’s a lesbian or something. At least I hope it’s not the typical wants him back thing.
Same!! I'm kinda excited for the ex + jealousy arc because I know it won't be pure misery
And then the ex stars going for yuki or smth I can totally see it happening
