Ok, after crying my eyes out, i’ve recollected my thoughts. Firstly, black kitty is such an curie for trying to save Yashiro ;v; “She wants to help her friends. And I know how that feels” could this imply that they had a similar situation before getting turned into a cat? I really hope we will eventually see their backstory!!!
“Once you jumped back into a moment, we can’t send you there again”. This is probably a key point for Yashiro to remember if she decides to keep time-hopping. However, with Akane’s appearance I don’t think it’s necessary anymore (damn is his face card LETHAL in this chapter). With Akane here, that means he’s obviously alive; meaning that there’s a chance for the others to still be as well (minus… kou and… nvm, i’m coping and confused).
It’s such a shame that Yashiro can’t talk about how she’s from the future - that would’ve been one hell of a chapter (as if it isn’t already) but it makes sense and is the usual case for time travel even though they kept quiet willingly (glances at Lu Guang, Homura and Yoo Joonghyuk).
Also, I just counted, and she went back in time 9 TIMES ;-; MY POOR BABY OMFG… No matter what she does, it wouldn’t work… if Mistuba goes anywhere, Kou goes with, then Teru goes with then so on - it’s like a chain of dominoes…
I can’t begin to imagine how it must be like to accidentally kill all of your friends you tried so hard to save, albeit manipulated/possessed in some way by possessed older Hanako(?). Yashiro looks SO traumatised in that one panel while being held by this hanako, it really makes my heart hurt so much for her.
One extra point I think is worth mentioning is how in that re-wind, she killed Akane. For him to turn up to save her means that whatever Yashiro does in the re-wind, it won’t affect her next re-wind if she’s not happy with the outcome. I wonder how Akane found her within all of those deep layers of time - I guess that’s why he’s a clock keeper. Without the key, though, I’m not sure how he managed to get into the same world as Yashiro’s current re-wind. I hope it’s explained in the next chapter!

They’re all happy and all of that… i think ending rn would be good - or if the upcoming side stories are about mc finding out ml outed him behind his back, creating a small argument out of it, making up, and then back to these last few panels again….

Could I get a fellow novel reader friend to help me out...For reference, I'm currently on the twins, Sally and Shirley, arc... almost finished it! About their first kiss (after the Duke arc)... I found it quite out of place because although I knew they were gonna get together, I didn't expect it to be so... sudden? Right before their kiss, did they know about how they were together in their past life? Or was it because they secretly understood each other's feelings and after a life threatening situation... they just let their true feelings show?
I mean - imagine. Everyone you know just died. The one you love is possessed, killed all your friends and cannot rest in peace. There's no one left in the world that understands you anymore. All of your previous memories will just disappear. Some may say that she's stupid for just getting herself into more trouble, but her self worth is just incredibly low (constant rejection, comments on her appearance). She cares about her friends so much that she would be willing to chance death for a possibility of them going back to how it was - just as they sacrificed themselves, Yashiro would too. What's wrong with that? She went through so much, what's everyone expecting her to do? I don't understand the Yashiro hate... She's a bit annoying sometimes but yeah...I can ac understand her on this one ;-;

The Shen father rlly doesn’t give a diarrhetic shart ab Yuhua up until she got yeeted outta the abyss (At least he’s hot). Same goes for basically all the characters except Swallowtail and Chutian…smh. If I was Yuhua, i’d js let Chutian loose and go on a vilain arc with him.
Started around 2018, finished 26th March 2025. I stopped halfway bc of the fandom but recently realised I started reading js bc the story's peak. I cried loads during the last few chapters purely from the nostalgia and regret I didn't read sooner T.T
