Then I guess that should justify why it's so hard for them to become lovers after being friends for so long, these kind of dynamics are hard to let go and change, from friends because of interest to lovers due to hormones, it's hard to accept how volatile love is.
How is even enemies to lovers better than that person you trust your life with in a real life setting?! Don't call on the hypocrisy of drama. Just because on is more complex to navigate on the psychological level doesn't make it bad.
