Literally one of the best mangas I've read in a while. Heiner's character development is so overwhelmingly impressive. I love how complex the characters are. Heiner is such a well written complex character. The author did such an amazing job they truly deserve all the praise. Annette is literally my fav. My girl went thru soo much she's literally soo strong. I can feel the manga ending and it let me tell u IM NOT AT ALL DISAPPOINTED. Even if they get together now (which they will ofc) I won't complain anymore cause they already went thru so much they deserve each other and their own happiness
If I remember correctly, the novel has an ambiguous ending of just them existing at the same time and only implied that they're getting back together.
Hands down the best character development I've read in a while. No excuse for Heiner's shitty behaviour nor Annette's infuriating naivety. It's a satisfying story all in all.
The main story ends ambiguously but the side story does have them be together.

me going through the same process as I read to ch 6 and SHE’S INSUFFERABLE. what is all this unnecessary touching and contact and being forced to go along with him and pretending to be upset about it but she secretly enjoys it she literally has a fiancé and when the female student asked if they’re lovers she didn’t think to hard deny it at all. AND MEETING HIM ON A SWAN BOAT THING FOR COUPLES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT LIKE WHAT

Not knowing how they r going to save her…isn’t that what would keep readers interested? If it’s too predictable, I doubt many ppl would read it. Just my opinion~
But as far as we know, it has something to do with the haron (demon cores) and mb her blood? They said something about getting a high ranking haron and using it when she is about to die, that way, it’ll revive her, because according to Perial, the Herthas keep reviving using the haron until it’s depleted.
So we still don’t even know if they are going to be able to actually save her since they don’t have a lot of info nor do they have a definite solution. Still researching… ╮(￣▽￣)╭
