Everyone shitting on sylhan needs to fucking realize that mental health illness medications only work when its paired with lifestyle changes and getting away from whats causing the trauma. Ofc he has the knowledge which pops out once in a while. However his critical thinking is significantly deteriorated and the medication isnt healing it fast enough cuz motherfucking lister is on his ass making him stay in his anxiety riddled fight or flighr state. Im gonna rip my hair out cuz of these comments. in the novel you see him get better as soon as he escapes lister and is allowed to feel safe again.

Omg one of my medications do this. Basically try to sit up straight as much as you can( goal is to not lie down makinh it easier for the stomach acid to go up to your throat) . Sip on something cold. Manhwa basically has hestia realize her goal was to make kael happy and not revenge with the addition of god.

But in the novel hestia has no idea why she was isekaid into a novel so makes revenge her goal. In the end, with her almost killing herself in the novel she realizes chasing revenge is meaningless and she should focus more on things that create joy in her life without focusing on her worth thats reliant on having a goals to achieve.

Basically manhwa fucks this up by making it « you already achieved your goal cuz making kael was the goal all along » which is very idk shallow compared to the development hestia went thru in the novel. I mean it was still entertaining but i had to vomit this out to figure out what abt the manhwa i didnt like.
