unpopular opinion, the writing was lame as fuck. there were some interesting plot points, but honestly it’s ruined by the excessive amount of porn. and i KNOW it’s yaoi so ofc that’s literally a porn genre, but bro,,, . i mean one of the main plot points is just an excuse for porn. there’s a lot of problematic stuff too (which again, i expected cuz it’s fucking yaoi) like dubcon or just straight up noncon. and in the context of story telling i understand that the noncon (esp between jinyeong and sid) signifies like the state of their relationship (extremely toxic and abusive and one sided), but like bro. why r u using that for more porn ?! i’m fine reading stuff with problematic content, esp if it’s being used to tell a story ! but like using it to make explicit porn, bro. whyyyyy. idk i also felt a lot of character’s personalities got stale over time ??? idk how to explain this, but it happens a lot in romance where a character’s personality becomes their relationship and it’s like . ok lame. boring. i feel like this was interesting enough for me to read through the whole way ONCE. but i do not see myself rereading. also some of the translations and notes were insufferable, and made it hard to understand the story. i feel bad giving it such a low rating, cuz i feel like i have so many strong opinions over this manhwa BECAUSE i feel like it has so much potential. but like whatever idec (i am NOT winning the idgaf war)
