yep I definitely would've gotten a DNA test. The only reason I could think of why the mom asked them not to get one is that she knew neither was the father and probably guessed that either of them would be the 'best out the worst' of possible guys who she slept with who could take on a father role. I feel bad for the daughter though, seems like she's acting tough act but is probably hurting inside.
