I would imagine competitors and big wigs preferring to kill the dad because of something like this gets out and gets people of lower status to control the big wigs in charge of everything that would cause some serious problems. Also this doesn’t make sense his son is only interested in the omega he cares for unless the doctor is trying to make a drug to help couples who are having issues intimacy issues <_<
