I’ve been *avoiding* drama manhwas like the plague because I just KNOW they’ll break my heart… and guess what? This one did. In the most beautiful, painful way possible. This had me crying in the club (aka my bed at 2AM)
The way it retells The Little Mermaid? Pure brilliance. Sua is the mermaid, Uihyeon is the prince, and Joseon/Korea is the “other princess” he ends up choosing?? Hello?? That metaphor?? *Chef’s kiss*
The art? Stunning.
The emotions? Devastating.
My heart? Shattered but thankful.
10/10 would recommend if you’re in the mood to cry and contemplate life. But now I need a fluffy, brainless romcom manhwa to revive me immediately.
