The manhwa isnt really showing how bad it was for cayden to calm down and accept the guiding. He really had a hard time allowing Jupiter in his space. Jupiter's guiding feels like being high on dr#gs so Cayden feels disgusted by himself for enjoying it which is why he only allows it for short time. For Jupiter it was an unusual response bcz all his life he had only seen espers falling for him and being addicted to his guiding. He could not understand why Cayden rejected him so much. That’s basically how their relationship started.

I feel like the manhwa can only show limited stuff so the emotions and aggression at the beginning of the novel felt missing here. But also to add to my previous comment, both of the characters are good people just lived a different kind of life and have their own issues.

The scar guy flirted around but truly he lived for and loved his country. That was his priority through and through. I am actually happy with this end that the adults ended with with no one. Their aim was higher than their individual interests.
I dont think rocky is Anubis like not completely. That would slightly ruin the story for me tbh. What could have happened is Anubis accidentally turning mimi to stone and doing the same soul repairing and sharing thing they showed previously. This might have left an essence of Anubis in Mimi which is what is causing confusion. The stone could be the part of Anubis that gave Rocky life force.
