I'm curious about something regarding the author of low tide. I don't have twitter so could anyone tell me if they're receiving backlash for the things they've said? Do they still have a loyal fan base or are they losing sales ? hai guys I have a question. I've seen this troupe many times over the years in bl, but I never honestly understood it. Gay guys falling for or wanting to fuck straight guys trope. I genuinely can't wrap my head around as to how it would be arousing. Wouldn't it js be a waste of time and a disappointment at the end?     honestly i never got it either. this is a wild guess but if i were to put myself in their shoes i guess maybe its the thought of someone making an exception/changing their views because of you. its satisfying to think about lol... also, yeah, same as a fellow lesbian, i find it a bit hard to crush on someone clearly uninterested in me... i cant really like someone if i doesnt feel as if they like me too. but were all different HAHA everyone has their own weird tastes and quirks

You’ll be able to see and hear that a lot of gays and lesbians find straights challenging and attractive. It also gives them the superiority complex, just like how straight men finds challenging girls attractive.

    This. This manga frustrates me so much everytime I remember it lol. I read this like 5 years ago and everytime it crosses my mind I get irritated by the ending.

    The mc basically has a reverse harem and he has had a crush on this one dude for a long time but then the story focuses so much of the story of mc with this 2nd male that in the end the fact that mc still fucking chose the guy he like before just blew my mind. Like mc and that 2nd male lead had so much screen time together that everyone reading it thought he was the mc. And yet, he was forever the 2nd male lead. There's even a fucking chapter dedicated to when in the end after he didn't chose him he comforted the 2nd male lead and asked if they can still be friends and shit. Mind you, I haven't reread this since the first time I read it and I still remember how much I hated the ending; I have adhd, I forgot what I ate for breakfast, and yet i remember how much this shit frustrated me lol.

    i tried to read this a long time ago but from what i can remember, i didn’t like how the main couple were basically siblings. i thought that they were living together bc the white haired guy mom had recently died when NO she had died YEARS AGO!! i just hate diet incest stories. like oh it’s okay bc we’re step siblings!

    Ahh I can kinda understand where you're coming from XD. Though if you want to try it again I would absolutely say it's hella good. The two of them did not treat each other as sibling nor did they ever see each other as one. They aren't step sibling either, the mom just adopted haebom since his mom died and she's like the only one who sees him as actual family. I mean like yeah they see each other as a family now since they're madly in love but not in the incestuous way. It's a really good manhwa overall and I hope you atleast consider checking it out again!

    and them getting together and all that was all too fast. I didn't understand why they couldn't be like ya my best friend lives with me our family, and my mum's his guardian. instead of like ya they cant know we are bros. Also ml asking his dad for the apartment idk. all that was hard to swallow. I tried to read it a couple times, but had to drop. Transition was just rushed.

    its not my most hated, it simply makes me uncomfortable . it gives me the same vibe as the manga, where mc goes to a restaurant with his crush to ask her out, turns his dad, was gonna introduce his new lover to him. Which was his crush's mom, so now she's his sister

I swear I'm not crazy and this was not a weird fever dream. I'm looking for an anime/ manga(?) that I saw back in 2020-2021 while it was airing weekly. I'm kinda convinced it was a bl bc all the main characters I remember were guys but maybe not. It was a surfing sports kinda anime but now thinking more, it was a seriously dark and a depressing story. The characters I remember were all high schoolers I think and it looked like ur average teen surf comedy anime. one guy pretty sure the actual main character lived right in front of the beach and he had a lil dog. I'm pretty sure he had a bubbly personality but was seriously depressed since at the end of the 12th episode he tried to drown himself in the sea and was saved by his friend. I think I remember the characters rotating around the high school, the surf shop and the beach? also possibly one of the boy's houses. I haven't seen any content posted about this anime anywhere else after that but, I swear i saw this on 9anime or a site similar back then. PLEASE help.. I'll try to think of more details too
