Hot take but them not being nice to people outside their relationship is such a turnoff (and has been since the prequel). Social anxiety is not an excuse to mute people's texts and shit (I'm saying this as someone with the severe mental disorder kind not just the uwu I'm so shy kind), just don't befriend people if you're gonna ignore them. Another even hotter take is I hate being able to relate to characters (literally the whole reason I read East Asian comics is because I'm not East Asian) so seeing them in college doing all the shit I do as a student makes me real uncomfortable. It's an asexual thing I think, though other asexuals seem to want to avoid seeing people with the same gender as them while I care more about other factors.
