the cover was so pretty, the art was good, even the concept was intriguing but instead it was just a story of a guy being abused and gaslighted while the perpetrator faces no repercussions and in the end is still famous and gets to be with his victim. if it was done well it might have been tolerable but the pacing and execution of this just made it feel incredulous and very unsatisfying.
