I feel like this book treats us like idiots. So we're just going to ignore slavery? Child trafficking? The abuse these kids will be going through. We're just going to ignore that as a side plot? We're just going to focus on the Romantic aspect? No no no I was too distracted on the fact that I was watching children being sold as sex slaves or whatever they did to Children back then which I don't really want to know about but I do know enough, because I pay attention to the news and school, that it's not something as Whimsical as you would see in Oliver twist. The guy runs an Empire that legalizes slavery. Slavery! Screw your water magic! Free the slaves! Those were children! Children! There is no romance or romantic moment when you just saw half a second ago, children being sold into slavery. Nobody here thought that this panel was romantic or that there was romantic tension between them. They were too busy feeling sick and sorry for children being sold as slaves! I hope that there's a rebellion. Dude sucks
