It's really so hard to comeby a good story with a good ending these days
I feel like all well written stories I've seen are from old animes from 20s
From start to finish this is just sooo good

Despite all the joking around and ridiculous scenarios, lies complicated relationship, family, and mental problems
It's easy to say just do this, just do that but any sort of mental problems really takes a long time to fix. Seeing the first steps they're taking, I'm so excited for the time when both of them finally see and learn to reflect on the things and decisions that led them to their situation, you can already see it on kyla >< it'll be long but I believe it'll be worth it when he also finally gets to actually understand literally everything

Just thunking maybe she can't hear thoughts from people who's "speaking their mind" and who are infatuated /attracted / favours her (both romantic and non romantic) ?
Thus the reason why she couldn't hear the prince when they first met because he could've been interested from the start and because he went straight to the point she didn't hear any thoughts (prince did tell kyla not to fall for him but he never said he wasn't allowed to fall for her either and kyle only said to be professional, and only when the prince didn't say what was on his mind was she able to hear the prince's thoughts)

Same goes for viscount, kyla couldn't hear any throughts when he confessed seriously, she only ever hear his thoughts when he didn't wanna say what was on his mind
The same thing happened with the maid, she never outwardly says her admiration but when she proposed that was the only time she couldn't hear her thoughts

This could also be the reason why Kyla never heard randys thoughts because from the start he liked kyla and always spoke his mind

Another possibility is that because they're words held no malice or hidden intentions

I really wish they made the crown prince fall for April's beauty
They even made a really good bait by making the duke say stuff about how the prince liked the solt's princess beauty features etc. to the point of wanting to kidnap her ((i know it's also because of April's interception with the palace works, BUT The duke also made it sound like her beauty was something the prince would also like)) But as soon as she saw April he didn't even budge, no urge, no interest, no love at first sight on her at all. Not until the the Duke showed reactions toward April that's the only time the prince took an interest in her

Like it was set up so perfectly for a really good intense cliché for some spark of push and tug romance of realising their feelings etc etc orz
But no It didn't even happen nothing, I know it'll probably happen but honestly I still wanted for the prince's obsession towards April to be about her "beauty" so it's a just a shallow reason instead of interest only because the Duke showed affection towards her. Like They make it look like The prince is so obsessed with the Duke that it looks like some kind of revenge infatuation yaoi plot I see on mangas ( i know they're half brothers, and I also don't see them in that light AT ALL, I'm just using the term for comparison since its so common on yaoi plots )

I'm a sucker for family storiessss aaaaa I really want this to marinate
I can't wait for when they actually get well off I'm hoping that since it's a manhua that they're gonna make this super long :praying: ☆~☆
