I remember reading it when I was 9, about a girl and her brother running away from home because the girl took a "nightmare" animal and took care of it. As I remember they also took a train and ate some sweet potato. The creature eyes were so wide-eyed, this manga took like in the 2010ish (?), but I believe it's older than that. I really wish I could read it once again, i remember reading it with my step sister.. :(
