firstly, the sides should’ve been either in the middle or at the end of the main story and we should’ve gotten ACTUAL side stories.
secondly, you’re telling me some sacred beast whatever tf couldnt save him esp when he was right in front of his face?? mind you, seme got attached and didnt wanna let him go in the first place and he knew the uke had a fear of being abandoned and he let himself be controlled by that fear. so why couldn’t the seme just express how much he cares for the uke and he’d never abandon him, and even if the uke refuses to believe it, he’d spend everyday proving his fears wrong. BUT NOOOOOOO, WATCH AS HE GETS FUCKING MURDERED SACRED BEAST MY ASS
third, calling him promiscuous and liking sex in the past life when in actual fact he was a CHILD (he literally turned 18 and they jumped him) AND HE WAS VIOLENTLY RAPED BY DOZENS OF MEN DAILY
i really did enjoy the main story bc it was horror and psychological and fantasy and whatever else, but that itself was a loose plot with 90% porn anyway so. then the side stories came along and ruined everything even more. i wish someone else wrote this bc the art is gorgeous and the plot is there, but ofc it had to be ruined
go read in cold love/the sacred serpent if you guys want an ACTUAL good story with green flag couple, snake seme and seme waiting hundreds of years for the uke to be reincarnated. that story is such a beautiful masterpiece, better than this nonsense
