after haewon is presumed to be dead for the first time the whole story shifts into this like development arc w haeyoung. basically throughout that whole arc, haeyoung is riddled with paranoia > gets super possessive (if not already), etc he also begins to engage in self-harm which i surmise was to show haewon just how apologetic he truly was ?? it’s just a lot of back and fourth until the end of the story. haewon ultimately ends up forgiving haeyoung bc he “endured enough”, which is lol…
