Anyway, I'm glad this whole "fight" happened. Both Hirano and Kagiura's feelings are valid, so they're bound to hit a wall in the places they differ– but it's important that they choose to talk it out and communicate their feelings about these things. This kiss incident needs to set a precedent for them not of "we're at odds because we've got very different opinions on this," but rather of "we need to communicate and respect our limits and that's okay." </3
I can see a lot of people hc Hirano as being in the aroace spectrum, and while that's 100% fine (and I'd love it if the author actually made that a thing), just for the sake of the argument let me say he doesn't really need to be aroace for his view on love, and his wants, to be different from Kagiura's! They are two different people-- that in and of itself is enough of a reason. I have a lot of personal baggage when it comes to physical touch, so for me it's easy to consider this doesn't have to do with his sexuality per se-- but I'm not sure how common of a connection that may be for others (i.e maybe this is a neurodivergent thing), so that's why I want to just mention that. You're never the one to decide what someone else feels; whether or not things may look or seem a certain way to you, ultimately, they are someone else's feelings and therefore are something you will never decide for them. Hirano's sexuality notwithstanding, his feelings are understandable and valid – just like Kagiura's are, too, for wanting to kiss him. It's important they BOTH communicate what they want; regardless of it maybe making Hirano uncomfortable, as they need to understand eachother first and foremost right now.
The two of them can make this relationship work as long as accommodations and compromises do not feel like *sacrifes* to them; and that's something we'll have to see play out from here on out.

Anyways, they're both two cutie patooties, and I love 'em. But Hanzawa scares me...
