This is why I don't like people justifying his actions. He didn't even want revenge in the very first place. When he visited jiwook at the hospital. It showed in the novel that he still had some lingering affection for jiwook. He felt some type of way after seeing that jiwook lost his memory and only then did he decided to do all of it. It wasn't revenge but some sort of mess up mindset after seeing the person who he liked has put him through so much just forgot him like that. It's obsession mixed with resentment. From his stand point. It's understandable but not justifiable. Same goes for Jiwook. There are ppl in the comments section of the novel victim blaming Juyeon because he willingly associates himself with jiwook in highschool even knowing that jiwook has history of doing stuff like send pics and videos(inappropriate of his gf) on the internet but he is just a child. He doesn't know any better. He wouldn't have known that he would get rape like that.
Raping your gf, sending her pics, then pass her around. But he is still just a child? Are you crazy? He raped the ml when he was still a mfuking MINOR! And gangraping him. If a "child" can rape he is not a "child" anymore. Don't defend a literal rapist, by labeling them as just a child and he didn't know better. Plz.
Nah it's fine maybe I wrote it in a confusing way. ("-.-)I don't think both of them are defendable but if I were to look at where Juyeon is coming from, I understand his feelings but I wouldn't justify it. While jiwook actions in the past and in the present are just unjustifiable. He is a terrible person.
People calling any character with trauma a complex characters
“A related group of emotionally significant ideas that are completely or partly repressed and cause psychological conflict that affects mental states or behavior.” “something is made of many interconnected parts, making it complicated and often difficult to understand.” here’s two definitions for you too understand what complex means hope this helps :)
Byul is a bit understandable but still it's just so?!?!but dojin is not justify at all. How are people even defending him and bringing up the fact that he was ready to raise byul alone. Like how does that relate to anything. That's the child he wanted. He rape and baby trap hyesung and he was the one who paid hyesung to keep it and he's reaching out to the person who hurt his wife because he was somehow enlightened when hyesung brought byul to his parents. He has no valid reason whatsoever to be doing what he do. And what's more of a disappointment is the fact the author will probably make hyesung reconcile with the women who abandoned him over byul and that bitch dojin.
Honestly seeing the thumbnail for the Korean chapter today. It getting harder to not hate the idea of haewon and hang-yul brother ending up together. Maybe I should wait for the raw and hopefully I'm wrong and it's just haewon seeing han-gyul face on the brother because of the string effect if not then I pray that they don't get together because then that's just icky. Imagine saying you love the brother and the brother face is literally just the exact same as your og soulmate face but with a more build and taller body. I love the brother down and no hate to him but I don't really see their chemistry. I'm not mad if they end up together. Personally I want mc with haewon but I hope the author will make sure we can differentiate hang-yul face and the brother face if they are going to be a couple because it will only make it feel more like he is just a replacement :/ more than before and he deserves better.
UPDATE:
I see one panel of the Newest chapter and honestly it's just fucking strengthen the fact that haewon doesn't deserve the brother. Ig I would say the brother is really pretty but at the same time I can also see hang-yul in him if hangyul didn't have a scar and part his hair to the side. They can be differentiated but ATP just give him to me instead. Han-gyul needs to be happy with someone who wouldn't ruined his life or use him because of their own confused feeling. And the brother? HE TOO GOOD FOR HAEWON. BOTH HANG-YUL AND HIS BROTHER ARE TOO GOOD FOR HAEWON. FUCK THIS SHIT GIVE THEM BOTH TO ME.
Let me just say this. Love isn't transactional. What you say Ian is cruel about ,TJ has done worse. Ian mentioning something TJ did do (keeping the scar, breaking his leg) is for some reason cruel. Ian regretting his words and running after TJ only to be stop by Jo so apparently people consider that scene as TJ seeing Ian with his new lover and it's cruel.
So I want you to think about how Ian feels when he saw TJ with other women. Is that not cruel? Think about the time he was gonna get marry to someone. Is that not cruel at all? When he went running to TJ and gave him a hug. Attended the funeral and told TJ that he would kill their enemies. Is that not him choosing to be there for TJ only to be ghosted afterward? And he thought that TJ didn't need him anymore. Is that not sad enough for you to sympathize with him but instead you take his words in black and white Or does his feelings not matter at all in any situation? Now if you add the stuff that TJ did to keep Ian by his side. Are all those things that TJ did to him not also cruel?TJ has done more harm but you can also they both have done something unintentional and intentional that hurt each other but if you just gonna keep blaming one person that's just annoying.
Wow...so sad. How can anyone blame TJ...I mean look at him. He went through so much...he has such a hard childhood tho. How can we blame him or saying anything bad about him. How can we hold him accountable when he has such a hard childhood and it was his choice to be in the gang. You guys got to understand he is nothing but an empty shell without the gang. He is so overlooked. He literally has no one! He only had Ian by his side for like 20 years only! He deserves so much better!
