Because it’s the truth

It’s because those characters aren’t real. They’re fictional. A lot of people simp for evil villains who have committed war crimes. Do they want to date a person like that irl? Of course not. That’s because they’re not real. I don’t understand how that’s so difficult to grasp.

Many people say that it’s valid to criticize a certain “problematic” part of the story even though it’s not a flaw and instead important to the story and it wouldn’t be the same without it. You’re not criticizing, you’re just complaining about a story that clearly isn’t for you and get mad when people call you out on it.

It’s not that serious.

Wishing the worst upon someone you know nothing about over fiction is way worse than reading “problematic” content.

It’s annoying to look at comments and I only see people complaining about how toxic it is. They think it’s a valid criticism. I don’t understand why such people stick around for more than 10 chapters.

Imma be serious and say that I genuinely don’t care either way. It’s just doesn’t ruin the story for me. Why would I care about what a fictional character goes through.
