I went in expecting nothing, i mean just look at that title, but after reading, i wouldn't be surprised if someone who'd never read the book named it lol. If nothing else the artwork is gorgeous (the costumes are out of this world) but i enjoyed the characters and story too.

Don't be put off by the stereotypical fragile, delicate bodied MC. It's not just thrown in there to make him more feminine and match tropes. It's taken more seriously than I've ever seen in a manga and a source of a lot of internal struggle and character growth for the MC. But i think the thing i liked most about this one is the main couple aren't stupid *cries in joy* Overall they're competent and intelligent and it's such a nice change from screaming at characters making dumbass decisions (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

Blood Link, Tale of Yellow Dragon, pretty much the early works of BWAT. I simply can’t get over how ugly I think the characters are. Their newer works are amazing, but I just cant comfortably read the early stuff. Feel like I’ll get shit for this one lol

I finished Blood Link but I was soooo bored tbh. And I 100% agree and also am not a huge fan of that art style.

It took me like 2 tries to finally finish it. Personally I actually enjoy when stories are darker since the vast majority of stories I read are (overall) pretty tame. But I understand, it definitely a lot.

I don't even have a specific story in mind but anything with love triangles. Even those stories with characters who have hung ups on their past relationship, I stay away from it.

i don't really know if it is common but with yuri i've had the misfortune of always coming across a story that involves a high school girl with an older woman. like i see something that looks interesting, i start to read only to find it it's about a grown ass adult having innapropiate interactions with a minor. i don't mind age gaps but that's just too much, what the hell. i can maaybe ignore it if a character actually looks way older and acts more mature but most of the time they literally look like high schoolers i don't see this as often with yaoi, most of the times the couple are around the same age, and the age gap stories i've read are usually about two adults too. idk i'm very picky with my yuri, so i haven't read a lot either.

The MC is always dumber in yaoi, especially when the ML is toxic and abusive, compared to yuris. Like the yuri MCs seem to have more of a backbone when they what to come to a conclusion or end things etc. There's less rape in yuris too, so I prefer them (>.<)y-~

Mangaupdates dot com will tell you if a work has been licensed in English and who the English publisher is though it doesn't specify if the publication is digital or physical copy. In my experience, manhwa webtoons are mostly digital

idk about sites but I ask chat gpt when I wanna buy a physical copies and it tells u where to buy them online or stores in your country
that or I just look them up in b&n they usually have everything

Yeah that’s my problem. I often use Mangaupdates and the struggle is that usually it’s only digitally licensed and has no physical copy :’)

It might be fastest to find a publisher of physical books and just look through their catalog.
