Likeable/interesting MC, they can be dense but, can call bullshit when it’s due + ML has a brain, it can work in mysterious and completely wrong ways, just don’t make him think with his dick 24/7

So mc is the ml’s study mate/servant- but when ever ml gets a question wrong mc gets punished by the tutor. He’s hired to kill ml but can bring himself to do it. Instead he runs away with a family heirloom (a purple brooch) and ml catches him stealing it, mc knocks him out.
He comes back a few years later pretending to be a servant out of curiosity, but Mac notices his blonde hair.
